This is about residents, not businesses. Atlantic Avenue Association is pushing for three core parking priorities:
1. More public parking spaces – at least 1,200 additional spaces to make up for lost spots and meet future demands.
2. Year-round parking on Atlantic Avenue – to boost retail, attract residents, and generate revenue through meters, offsetting any potential loss to the city’s parking fund.
3. Free beach parking for residents – to prevent double taxation for locals accessing the beach.
